Union of Black Episcopalians

Greetings Beloved:

Welcome to the Union of Black Episcopalians, and God’s blessings be manifest in your life always.

For over fifty years, the Union of Black Episcopalians (U.B.E.) has endeavored to be at the forefront of the fight against racism, injustice, and prejudice, as well as the systems that perpetuate and sustain them, both within the church and the world.
Some days we grow weary, but with our faith in Jesus Christ, we never feel defeated. Sometimes we are unsure if we can take another step forward. Still, through the power of the Holy Spirit, we tighten our bootstraps, hold on to one another, and continue marching forward to Zion, the beautiful city of God. 1
Whatever click of the fingers brought you to this website, we are hopeful that it will be helpful for you as you seek to delve deeper into your journey of faith, as well as gaining a deeper understanding of the faith, struggle and resilience of people of African descent in all of God's creation and especially those who proclaim the faith in Christ Jesus as expressed in the Anglican/ Episcopal Tradition.
Through this website, we aim to provide all visitors with the tools they need to connect with others, participate in training and special events, and understand their role and presence in U.B.E. and its work.
Being part of the Union of Black Episcopalians may only be a WiFi or cellular signal away.
Join us as we seek to equip all of God's people for the work of justice in Jesus’ name.
